Meet Teurai (Tee)

Welcome, titambire, ngiyalamukela! My name is Teurai (aka “Tee”), I’m in my forties and a proudly Zimbabwean woman based in Australia! I’m a Personal Fitness Trainer and Holistic Health & Wellness Coach who provides Online Fitness Programs.  I currently live in Australia, but I’ve also had the pleasure of calling Germany and the UK my home.

I have trained clients in the US, Canada, Europe and Africa. Plus,  I once got to do my awesome work sailing around the world on a luxury cruise ship for nine months! I had so much fun and was so inspired I wrote a book about it.

I enjoy working out, celebrating life, dancing and I would love to do this with all of you! My approach to health and fitness is holistic: the mind, emotions and the body must work together to achieve the result you want!

Motivation comes from within — and I’m here to help you activate it.

Modelling

I’m proud to be a 42-year-old model. I have been able to break the stereotype of what a 42-year-old African woman can do, while maintaining my integrity and authenticity.

Through a holistic approach I’ve been able to overcome challenges in life modelling, health and fitness . I preserve my mental and emotional health with daily prayer and regular meditation which help increase my concentration; energy; drive and positivity.

I also use the same workout routines which I’ve incorporated into the customised workout programs and Ready to Go Package. Stretching and relaxation also give great flexibility; reduce stress and I practice this before each modelling shoot. I also use natural detoxification and follow a 90/10 rule when it comes to nutrition (90% healthy; 10% not so healthy); because health starts in the kitchen.

Bodybuilding

I successfully competed in the International Natural Bodybuilding Association of Australia(INBAA) as a natural Fitness Model Athlete. From 2014 until 2016 I achieved Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in various national and regional competitions in Australia.

What I loved about competing is that it set my mental and physical discipline in stone, and I learnt in-depth about what works for my body nutrition and exercise wise. I enjoy coaching the methods for achieving this higher state of body self awareness to my clients and to you too when you join one of my programs!

Philanthropy

When my mother Elizabeth passed away from cancer in Zimbabwe in 2010, she founded the Elizabeth Chanakira Cancer Trust (“ECCT”), Zimbabwe in 2011. The ECCT assists marginalised cancer patients and their families in Zimbabwe with healthy food hampers, pain management and school fees for their children.

Fundraising methods include global fun runs; worldwide Fitness To A Tee Flat Tummy classes and all the proceeds from plans purchased in Africa, go to support the ECCT patients and their families. To view the Elizabeth Chanakira Cancer Trust website and make a donation click the button below
